Announcements & News

Announcements:

In order to support the state’s efforts for social distancing during the time of COVID-19 (coronavirus), we have developed the following strategy to take this pandemic very seriously but still provide high quality services. At this time, the risk in Sweetwater County is low; however, we will continue to be aware of the impacts on our clients and ensure client safety.

At this point, all scheduled therapy sessions will continue as planned. We are working to set up distance counseling options such as video counseling or phone counseling in order to continue your services and support you all while respecting state recommendations for social distancing. We are working to ensure that as we move to this new platform your confidentiality is a priority. We will update you as soon as possible once this is available.

We have already increased our efforts to sanitize and disinfect high traffic areas and objects (ie., light switches, door knobs, furniture, floors, restrooms, toys, etc). We are cleaning these areas twice daily and additionally as needed. We are also sanitizing toys and therapy supplies regularly. The use of sand trays and playdough/putty will be suspended temporarily until the risks related to COVID-19 are much lower. We will also be requesting that only clients and the parents of young clients come into the building at the time of the appointment (not early) to reduce the number of people in the waiting area. In addition, we will be requesting that each client wash or sanitize their hands prior to sessions. If you or your child is feeling sick, please phone the office at 307-382-3010 to inform us and stay home.

All the actions we have taken are precautionary and preventative in nature. By following the state recommendations to increase social distance, we hope to do our part in supporting our clients through this difficult time. The risks continue to remain low in Sweetwater County.

Although this virus is not widespread in Wyoming, we are taking the appropriate precautions and being aware. The public should not be alarmed at this time. We will be providing updates as required as additional information becomes available to us. Please look for these updates here or on our Facebook page.

If you have any additional concerns or require special consideration, please feel free to contact us by phone 307-382-3010.

Sincerely,

Jill Johnson, Owner
